FOOD 40
Skip beef and lamb for 40 days to cut your food emissions in half. If you’re already vegan, eat local products only or aim for zero foodwaste.
TRANSPORT 40
Ditch your car for 40 days and switch to eco-friendly transport. Walk, bike, or take public transport instead to create positive change every day.
ENERGY 40
Aim to reduce your energy usage for 40 days. Give up heating or cooling your home and layer up instead, switch to coldwater washing and line-drying.
THRIFTY 40
For 40 days, repair, reuse, and recycle instead of buying new. If you must buy, challenge yourself to keep it sustainable and packaging-free.

Where will my fundraising money go?
The money you raise will help UnitingWorld fund innovative programs delivered by our local partners on the ground in vulnerable communities disproportionately affected by climate change who need support the most.
When does the challenge start and finish?
The challenge officially kicks off on March 5 and ends on April 17. But you can sign up today and start fundraising to make an even greater impact.
Is there a registration fee?
40 FOR THE FUTURE registration is completely FREE. As soon as you’re registered, you can start sharing your fundraising page to get your friends, family and workmates involved in helping create a fairer future for all.
