Crochet, karaoke and kindness
In rural Bali, women like Nistri (pictured right) are building better lives for themselves and their communities, thanks to people like you.
Nistri had a dream—to start her own crochet business. But without the resources, it seemed impossible. That’s when our partner MBM* stepped in, providing seed funding and support. Nistri’s small business has now grown to employ 20 people!
These women have turned their workplace into more than just a business—it’s a community. They laugh, sing karaoke on Friday nights and support each other like family.
They embody the spirit of Everything in Common, inspired by the early Christian generosity described in Acts 2:44-45:
All the believers were together and had everything in common... giving to anyone who had need.
