UnitingWorld Sunday 2024
He has told you, O mortal, what is good, and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?
(Micah 6:8)
The Uniting Church in Australia is connected in partnership with churches across the Pacific, Asia and Africa. They are vibrant, inspiring, and dedicated people of God who are transforming lives and communities for the better.
UnitingWorld is the agency that manages these partnerships for the wider UCA, and hosting a UnitingWorld Sunday service is a chance to hear the wisdom of our partners, learn more about our work together and how we can all make a difference.
You can host your UnitingWorld Sunday service whenever it suits your church calendar!
What's new in 2024?
Micah 6:8 is the theme chosen for 2024 by Rev. Dr Mery Kolimon, a theologian in the Christian Evangelical Church in Timor (GMIT).
Rev. Dr Kolimon has shared a video sermon and Rev. Dr Apwee Ting has written a liturgy focusing on our partners in South East Asia.
There is a range of other resources to help you host your UnitingWorld Sunday service, including PowerPoint resources, colouring-in sheets, information about UnitingWorld, promotional assets, opportunities to give, and more!
