Right now, our world faces huge challenges — poverty, climate change, growing inequality... But what if we could see a different picture unfolding?

Our partners do too. It's a vision that drives us to tackle poverty and climate change together.
In rural Zimbabwe, our partners are turning dry land into school gardens, installing solar-powered water systems and training students and families in climate-smart farming. Pilot projects are already changing lives for children like Tanaka, but they need your help to reach more communities.
We need your help to scale this bold initiative to bring clean water, food and resilience to entire villages.
And there’s never been a better time to give. Thanks to our partnership with the Australian Government, your donation will go up to six times further* to resource this critical work across Zimbabwe, the Pacific, Asia and Africa.
Please give generously today.
Your tax-deductible gift will help build a world where every child can thrive.

Tanaka (pictured) lives in rural Zimbabwe.
She had to drop out of school for two years because her family couldn’t afford the fees. When she finally returned, hunger made it almost impossible to concentrate.
Across rural Zimbabwe, families like hers are living through the growing impacts of poverty and climate change. Droughts last longer, food costs soar and, without access to clean water, girls walk long distances to fetch it. Crops fail, and children fall behind or drop out.
What changed everything for Tanaka’s school was water.
Until recently, it was scarce and unreliable. Gardens would dry up. Students would go without food. The burden of fetching water fell on girls like Tanaka, walking long distances and missing lessons.
Now, thanks to your support and the leadership of our local church partner, a solar-powered borehole delivers clean water every day, not just for the school, but for the whole surrounding community.
With water flowing, Tanaka’s school has planted a large, thriving vegetable garden. It’s supplying food for the feeding program and helping students learn new skills.
“If we can always get water at the school, I can help in the garden,” Tanaka says. “We’ll grow vegetables for lunch and learn how to do it at home too. I want to teach my mother so we can have our own garden and sell vegetables and eat better at home. I am confident that my schoolmates who have stopped coming to school because of hunger will now come back.”
Families like Tanaka’s are already planting gardens at home, using techniques learned through the school.
For a family that once relied on scraps and skipped meals, that’s a profound shift — one that brings nourishment, dignity and new possibilities for the future.
Tanaka’s journey is part of a wider movement of transformation, where students, teachers, parents and entire communities are coming together to create lasting change.
This is how change happens—community by community, lived in faith and fuelled by love. Thank you for being part of it!
