Help the people of Fiji after Cyclone Yasa
Fiji has been hard hit by Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
There have been 4 fatalities and 23,000 homes lost. People have sheltered in 183 evacuation centres, many of which are churches. The damage has been most severe in Vanua Levu and the surrounding islands with entire villages affected.
Our partners, the Methodist Church have been compiling assessments of damage through their staff in all divisions. They have an action plan for immediate response, and intend to support short-term recovery as well as longer term rebuild.
We will keep updating this page as we hear more.
