On March 28, a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, leaving thousands in urgent need of food, shelter, clean water and medical assistance.

At the time of writing, more than 1,600 people have been killed and thousands more injured. Hospitals are overwhelmed, infrastructure crippled and years of civil war have left Myanmar's people extremely vulnerable.

The ACT Alliance, a global Christian humanitarian network that includes UnitingWorld, has requested help to resource a coordinated response. Implementing partners have begun rapid needs assessments and will be responding as resources allow.

The urgent needs right now are the distribution of food, water and shelter, prioritising the hardest-hit regions.

You can help provide urgent food, water, shelter and support. Please give.

Right now, you can offer a lifeline to communities devastated by this disaster, providing vital food, water, shelter and cash assistance to help people most impacted.

Please give generously.
