Gaza Crisis Appeal
You can help bring medical care to families in Gaza who are living through relentless violence and displacement.
Our response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is now being delivered in partnership with our Church Agencies Network – Disaster Operations (CAN DO) partner, Anglican Overseas Aid. They are funding the the salaries of clinical staff in the Al-Ahli Anglican Hospital in Gaza.

Today, Palestinians in Gaza are still living in desperate conditions.
Since October 2023, more than two million people in Gaza have faced relentless bombardment, forced displacement, and the weaponisation of food, water, and aid. More than 73,000 Palestinians have lost their lives, including over 21,000 children (June 2026 figures from WHO).
The destruction of civilian infrastructure has left nearly everyone in Gaza without clean drinking water, enough food or safe shelter. Child malnutrition is at a very high level. The UN reports 81% of all structures in Gaza are destroyed or damaged, including over 76% of housing. (July 2026, OCHA)
Although many health facilities are not operational, the Al-Ahli Anglican Hospital is still operating to serve those injured in airstrikes or suffering from chronic diseases. The population has experienced a rise in infectious diseases, gastro infections, and acute respiratory illnesses. Staff report that people are dying from lack of timely medical attention, with the situation now worse than in 2023. Fuel shortages are disrupting services, though staff are working around the clock to serve those in need. (Anglican Overseas Aid, June 2026)

Hospital staff are working hard to provide emergency healthcare for people affected by violence and the extreme living conditions in Gaza, including illnesses due to malnutrition, water insecurity and insecure shelter.
Al-Ahli Anglican Hospital is the oldest hospital in Gaza, founded in 1882, and the only Christian hospital there. The hospital has been struck by direct or indirect fire more than six times since the conflict began, with its own staff among the injured.
Donations help the hospital to stay open to provide urgently-needed health care.
